Lego building earns Big Bucks!
Based on the source of Eyewitness news report from ABC New York. There is a man who does nothing but create Lego buildings, vehicles, and monuments. Basically anything that you can imagine. And on top of that, He earns money.
Meet Sean Kenney.
An artist recognized by The Lego Group as a Lego Certified Professional.
Sean is not employed, paid, sponsored, or represented by The LEGO Group. In 2005, Sean became the first of only nine Lego Certified Professionals in the world, officially licensed by the LEGO Group as a trusted business partner.
Sean received his first Lego toys at the age of 4, and continued to play with them through and into his adult years. At the age of 27, Kenney began creating Lego sculptures professionally from his studio in New York. His early work include New York landmarks like the Greenwich Village and The Empire State Building.
Later, Kenney gave way to larger commissioned sculptures and artistic pieces for companies such as Google, Mazda, and JP Morgan Chase.
An up to date, Sean has over a million Lego pieces. Amazing isn't it?

Good news to all! Another video game is coming to add to the 3 famous Lego video games (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, & Batman). The game is based on the 1st four Harry Potter books and movies that tell the story of Harry's 1st four years at Hogwarts. Fans and gamers will have the chance to experience the adventure and magic of Harry Potter.
Features of this game are casting spells, flying on broomsticks, attending magic school lessons, mixing potions, and completing tasks. You will also have the chance to see your favorite characters in action. Personally, I would love to see Hermione Granger doing all the action. There are a lot of settings including the Village of Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, The Forbidden Forest, and the famous Hogwarts castle.
This will definitely give the fans of Lego and video games another bonus to their collection.

Star Wars Clone Army to invade Earth!
Yes, Armaggedon or End of Days to all human beings! The Clone Trooper Army is coming here on earth. Not the real thing, i am referring to the Lego mini-figure toys.
A group of Lego UK employees built the Clone Trooper army close to seven hours to raise funds for The National Autistic Society. To those who are not aware, this club is a British organization dedicated to helping people with Autism and Asperger syndrome live their lives with much independence as possible.
How did Lego UK employees manage to produce more than 30,000 troopers? Maybe they were able to purchase a Storm trooper cloning machine device from the planet Kamino. Or they have a large amount of funds.
What i like about this is the uniqueness of their promotional tool to avail funds for the said charity.

Lego Batman on your iPhone
LEGO Batman: Gotham City Games is designed exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch.
What is the difference from Lego Batman: The Video game is it is described by the developers as a "companion game" to the full version of the game.
Take on a variety of challenges thrown at you by the Heroes and Villains of Gotham. Throughout Gotham City you will find 16 classic stylized minigames that take you from deep within the heart of Wayne Manor, through the night’s sky piloting the swift LEGO Batwing, and even solve some of The Riddler’s most mind bending puzzles. Each challenge is linked together by a brand new story, shown through beautiful hand rendered cut scenes, backed by a full orchestral soundtrack.
Instead of the expected 3D action game, iPhone users are given a series of "stylized minigames" tied together with comicbook scenes. As an example, "Batman Boxing" is simply a Simon-like memory game where players repeat taps on a punching bag in the given order.
Master each game to become a True Hero or True Villain to unlock bonus content including never-before-seen artwork, trailers and wallpapers. Wallpapers can be saved onto your pictures library and can be accessed via the settings menu on your iPhone or iPod Touch to brighten up your handset.
Price of the game is $5.99. It's hard to see even die hard Batman fans willing to pay that price for this collection of simplistic mini-games.
Why? Because it is more of a platform to advertise "real" games rather than a contender along with Psp, Nintendo DS, etc.
I suggest you buy the full version and use it on real gaming platform like Ps3 and Wii. iPhone and iPod Touch will be there alongside the great gaming platform but not now....not today!

Lego Star Wars Chess set
Lego Star Wars chess set
Finally an interlocking toy (Lego) and a board game (Chess) rolled into one. The brand name is Lego Star Wars. Were it features the characters in Star Wars IV: A New Hope.
Creator Brandon Griffith said this is the first of the 3 series that his planning to make.
One particular piece that i like is the one that closely represents a scene from the movie. My favorites are "Han Solo plus Chewie" & "Greedo". Remember them arguing and debating on Chalmun's Cantina, a bar located in Mos Eisley.
The challenge here is the durability of the chess board. The total weight is 25 lbs. That is like carrying 22 chickens or lifting a young rottweiler.
Another issue is how much will it cost. The Mini figures were the most expensive part on the chess set.
Since 1999, Lego has released over 100 different Star Wars Mini figures. So you can just imagine how many set of chess board you can make out of Star Wars. Don't forget, we have more characters in Star Wars the Clone wars and the Expanded series. How about wookies vs battle droids chess board? ewoks vs storm troopers?
Do you have your own idea of making your own Star Wars chess game? Post it on the comment box. Who knows your idea might be the next big thing in Lego Star Wars.
